About the role:
At Northern we pride ourselves on
the service we deliver to our customers and we strive for excellence. As part
of the train presentation team you will play a vital role in delivering the
service to meet the requirements of our customers and other stakeholders.
We are looking for highly
motivated, reliable, and hardworking individuals to lead and work within a
small team to deliver a clean, presentable and functioning train for our
customers by following the company cleaning specification using the company
approved cleaning equipment and methods.
Through training and continuous
development you will be given the necessary knowledge and skills to deliver the
highest of standards, it is therefore essential that you are willing to develop
and grow with us.
With new carriages, more services
and a growing business it is our job to make Northern fit for the future.
You will be leading a small team,
supervising the work delivery and allocating shift tasks to the Train
Presentation Operatives following completion of a pre-inspection of work.
You
will be responsible for the cleaning and presentation of our trains to the
required standards at your location.
Experience in cleaning or any type of
vehicle presentation is desirable along with supervisory experience.
About you:
Applicants should have the
ability to work as part of a team, have a keen eye for detail, and be able to
recognise the customers’ needs, whilst showing individual initiative.
Awareness of COSHH and basic Health &
Safety is desirable, although training will be provided in the necessary safety
procedures.
